Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have a restraining order becasue of Domestic violence and I have full custody of my 21 month old son. His father has now summoned me to mediation and court for a change in child support, He has only paid one dollar in child support, he has a recent marijuiana conviction, he vandalized my car and a really bad temper, he has been evicted out of an apartment due to gang violence and has threatened my safety and the child numerous times, he has also been shot recently, Will the court over turn my full custody, even though he never did his 52 weeks of DV classes nor his jail release? We set up a visitation time and he didn't even show up for them...

If he is as violent as you describe, you should be requesting supervised visitation. Retain an attorney if possible. If you cannot afford an attorney contact the local domestic violence help center, they may be able to help you find an attorney or send a support person with you to court. You should not have to meet with him at mediation. Mediation can be done with the mediator meeting with you and then meeting with him. It is your duty to protect your child.
