Legal Question in Family Law in California

I had a restraining order against my ex that expired three years ago. Attached to that was supervised visitation through a service and sole legal and physical custody to me. He stopped visiting 2 years ago and theres been no contact since. Today out of the blue he called my parents house because he found my mom on facebook and looked her up in the phone book. He said that because there is no restraining order anymore he can see her anytime and it doesnt have to be with the service. He also told me he lost his other 2 children but he wants to see mine. Im nervous that he will show up what do I need to do and does he have to go back to court to change the visitation and custody orders?

You should renew the restraining order, if you still fear for your safety. The visitation order, which was part of the underlying restraining order does not expire. It will remain in full force and effect, until modified by further order of the court. However, you should probably consider filing an action under the Uniform Parentage Act?
