Legal Question in Family Law in California

Restraining order

Ok, so my ex has placed a restraining order on me, and I believe it was done under false terms. He NEVER said to stop all contact with him, and would tell me things like I care, I wanna hear about this and that, I will be there for you, etc......he has even sent me pictures of his genitals.

What can I do? I am at a lost as to what to do, I cannot find much information on this. If this goes through I may be fired from my job (my company contracts his to do work on site). I don't have a lot of money, and cannot afford much time off work. I also haven't been served yet, should I reply before I am?

So confused....
