Legal Question in Family Law in California
restraining order law
my soon to be ex-wife had a temporary restraining order (which at a later hearing was transferred to a year long order) issued against me claiming domestice violence, at the hearing no evidence was presented to support her case. basically it was her word against mine, and i didnt even get to present my case.
my question is, what can be done on my end to have this restraining order rescinded, and what procedures should i follow?

Domestic violence restraining order are issued to prevent future acts of violence. There is nothing that I am aware of that you can do to have the restraining order removed.

First, follow the order to the "T". Likely nothing can be done.
