Legal Question in Family Law in California

Restraining orders

I have a restraining order against my x.

Part of the condition on the restraining order is that he does not harrass me.

I feel he has been harrassing me through the court system

By dragging our ,what should have been a very very easy divorce to something that doesnt look like it will end. No kids, Have nothing to divide.

Can I take him back to the restraining order judge for contempt?

(The court hearings for divorce have been going on for 18 mo.)

Re: Restraining orders

It's difficult based on the information that you provided to know what to tell you. One would need more facts than those given. I would have to take a look at your court documents and see his argument and hear your counter-argument to determine if he is in fact being litigious.

If he's merely harassing you and there are no legitimate grounds to his actions, why is this not being brought to the court's attention?

If you don't have counsel, or if you believe your counsel is ineffective, you probably need to consult with another attorney.
