Legal Question in Family Law in California

I'm a retired marine and have been married for 15 yrs. I want a divorce and my wife has never worked. We have a total of 4 children and 3 are under 18yrs old. I expect to received 2k monthly for retirement and continue to work on base as a civilian. My wife has been going to school for the last 2 yrs. I would like to know an expected amount I will need to pay for alimony and child support. I also know she will be entitled to 50% of my retirement check.

Actually if you put in your 20, and were only married 15, she wont' get a full 50% of your retirement. That, however, is all I can really tell you based on the information available. Child support is calculated on an algebraic formula set out in the Family Code. It is sufficiently complicated that reports to the court on the calculations MUST be submitted from court-approved computer software, most commonly DissoMaster. To even get an estimate out of DissoMaster or any other approved software, far more information than you give is needed, including but not limited to your civilian job income, your retirement payments and her exact cut, how much visitation the non-custodial parent will have with each child, and your tax deductions from your tax returns.
