Can my wife take any part of my medical retirement. i worked in contra costa county safety retirment and was injured in the line of duty, and was forced to retire

Re: retirement community property

Disability retirement is normally compensation for the loss of future income. Income earned or in the case of disability retirement that comes due after the dissolution would be separate property. You may have to pay spousal support depending upon the circumstances.
