Legal Question in Family Law in California
retirement
My marriage of @22 years was annulled four years ago. Nothing was said in the annullment paperwork about gettting half of his retirement. I stayed home for five years so he could start his career with the Department of Corrections. Will I still be able to go back and file for what is rightfully owed to me? Where do I start?

Re: retirement
This is not a simple issue and you should start be retaining an attorney. The first question is why there was an annulment. There is a possibility that it could be divided as an ommitted asset. Good Luck, Pat McCrary

you should have asked the court to find that you were a putative spouse. i think it's too late to do anything now. i could be wrong.
