retracting emotional mistakes

can I recover and still obtain custodial rights after informing respondant in a pending divorce case info regarding an isolated episode of an anger outburst that children heard.

What do you mean by an anger burst. If you became angry and shouted etc, that should not be a problem. If you broke furniture, punched holes in the wall etc. Then you should take an anger management class as soon as possible. The court seldom takes a child from a parent as the result of a single outburst of anger, unless there is a danger to the children.
