Legal Question in Family Law in California
Rights of the biological father
I just heard from my ex and found out that she along with the help of the man she was with at the time faked a paternity test by swabbing my childs mouth and her mouth. 3 years ago she showed me the results so I did not pursue it any longer. She has recently told me the truth in the matter. The guy involved is on the birth certificate and is trying to obtain custody and rights to my child. What can I do at this point. I live in Alaska and this is all happening in california. Thank you so much for your help!

Re: Rights of the biological father
If you want to establish your paternity, you need to act on it now. There are potential limitations periods, so you need to assert your rights in a court action.
