What are my rights when children have been unlawfully detained DCSF

Is a search warrant needed when DCSF detained my children?

Is my consent needed when medical treatment is needed for my child?

NO DCFS can take child into protective custody if there is probable cause to believe that the child is in danger. Once the child is taken into custody they go to court for a temporary order, giving them temporary custody and to provide required medical treatement. In many counties the courts have issued standing orders for providing medical treatment, that is considered as normal medical treatement, generally of a minor nature.
