Legal Question in Family Law in California

My rights to choose who i live with

Im 16 and my i currenty live with my

mom. However my dad wants me to

move back in with him. I was

wondering if we go to court does the

law say that since im above 12 years of

age i can choose who i live with.

The judge has the final say in where you stay, but should give your preference a considerable amount of weight in making the decision.
