Legal Question in Family Law in California

what are my rights at a depositon in a divorce in California. Two questions I have, 1) I am divorcing an attorney and my attorney tells me he does have the right to depose me personally, even though he has an attorney representing him (the paperwork fro the depo does stae "he is taking my depo", 2) are there time restrictions as to how long the can depose before a break is given, what is the maximum hours allowed in the same date? Thanks
