What are my rights as a grandparent?

My Daughter has been living with a Guy of and on for 5 years, who is mentally abusive and prejudice to my grandchildren 10+ 12 years old.the children are from an interracial marrige and that is one of the biggest reason for his abuse.he has entered their rooms and destroid any pictures and other keepsakes of their father.he has also threatend them and pushed them around.they are scared of him,but my daughter refuses to give him up and told me that it was non of my business what she does.he has beenin prison for assault with a deadly weapon and resently was released from jail for DUI.what i told you here is just the tip of the Iceberg, but i am trying desperatly to help my grandkids, but have no money for a lawyer.the kids are confused now because my daughter told them i would take them away from her so they dont know whether to confide in me or be quiet and take the mental abuse. Please tell me what my Rights are and what i can do.i dont want them to be taken away and have to go to a Forsterhome.Thank you for what Help you can give me.sincerly a desperate Grandmother.

Grandparents don't have many rights. Tell your grandchildren about how to call 9-1-1 or child protective services if they are being abused. See Family Code Section 3103 for your rights.
