rights of living together, but not married if breaking up

I'm permanently disabled and have a teenage son. I moved here after I met the man of my dreams. He knew my financial situation, and we have been living together for over two year. He has anger problems among many others. I've had severe emotional abuse. My son knew him as his only ''father''. We were engaged. He left us after we just signed a new lease. He is threatening to make us move. He has a great deal of money, and wants to kick us out. My son started and needs to finish High School out here. He is willing to let us live on the streets and break the lease. What are my rights. I have recordings and e-mails of the way he has treated me.

You have co habitation rights, they are fairly limited. It might be best to get a consultation with an attorney to see how you can protect yourself legally from this terrible situation.
