Legal Question in Family Law in California

My name is Ritu, I got married 2 yrs ago. I now have a 2 month old baby. My inlaws came by to help with my pregnancy n delivery. Its Unfortunate that my MIL takes everything in negative sense and as soon as my husband comes home she gives him ear full. I am staying all day in my bedroom as I'm scared to even step out as my MIL keeps nagging n scolding me. Last night there was nothing to eat at home while my MIL FIL N HUSBAND went out for dinner without informing and left me n baby home. And as soon as they come home my husband catches a fight for no reason ( a/c was on as I felt it was too hot n he yells at me that I switched on A/C).

I kept quite n he grabed the baby from my hands n asked me to leave the house. I said I would call n inform the cops before leaving the house, he snatched the phone from my hands n bet me. What would be safe for me n will I get my baby

I'm currently not working and want to know what are the safe steps for me n what kind of financial support can I get. Will I get my baby or not?
