Legal Question in Family Law in California

Seeking Divorce Help

I filed for legal seperation 2/99, no response. FIled for divorce 3/07, no response. I want to finalize it but as I was going throught he paperwork, I noticed I made a mistake on the Summons (I put Petitioner to pay Respondent spousal support). Oh no, big mistake. I also didn't finalize the property decleration page with all our debts and assests. If I want to revise the Summons to state that the Respondent to pay Petitioner spousal support do I need to Amend and file it and serve him again even though he didn't respond when he was served with the divorce papers? I guess we would fal under the Default period right now, right?

The Property Dec page would consist of a timeshare, 2 cars, lots of debt and life ins policies

P.S.I did this all on my own.
