Sell Wedding Ring
Can I sell my ring before we're divorced so I have money to get out of an abusive situation and would I have to give 1/2 the money to my spouse?

Based on the usual attitude of the court and the law, it would seem that the court would find such conduct justified by the circumstances. The value of the ring would be a factor that the court would consider. If the ring is very valuable the court may consider some sort of sharing agreement. Generally rings and other such personal property is a gift and your separate property.
