if i am separating from my spouse and she disposes of my clothes and takes my jewels what whould be my next step.

File a petition for dissolution of marriage and serve her. Also take an inventory of these items. If possible remove them from the family home to a safe location. In any case make an keep an inventory of the items, including pictures. The summons contains temporary restraining orders prohibiting the transfer, disposal or the use of property to secure a loan. Consult with an attorney to prepare and serve the petition and summons as quickly as possible.
