Legal Question in Family Law in California

I am seperating from my Girlfriend after being together for 10 years, We have a child together. We are doing this without lawyers but still want to put our aggreements in writing. All the forms I find are for people that are legally married. Can I use those forms or are there seperate forms for Child Custody and property seperation for unmarried couples

The law considers the children of married and unmarried parents to be exactly the same. You use the same forms, once you have established legal parentage. If you have not yet established legal parentage, you must file those forms before or along with any custody and support forms.
