Legal Question in Family Law in California
Sept.2010 daughter-in-law filed divorce papers on son,he got lawyer and responded/meantime he remains in home, and has gone on 4 day trip w/wife ,had sex and remains in home to date, still stating divorce still proceeding, as far as he knows(still thinking "she'll changer her mind)-there is property and teenage child involved. Son is living in sepatate bedroom as he had for 7yrs.--my question; does the fact they had sex, live together, invalidate divorce proceedings,-due to the "concillatory" fact they cohabitated when/during time papers are filed and pending-?? My son is disabled, major knee surgery 1 month ago and thinks he has time in house until march or april..does he have right to stop proceedings at this point.?

Nope. Not unless she she changes her mind about the divorce that she filed.
