serve divorce papers

i filed divorce and i have constantly to serve the other party, but she lives in louisiana and says shes not going to contest the divorce but do not want to give me her home address or work address. i would like to know if there a another way for me to finish my divorce? we already have a child support order in effect and have been in a effect for two years. also i filed for divorce in may 2004 is there a limited amount time before i have to start over?

I don't understand why you have to keep doing personal service. If you served the initial papers personally and she didn't respond then you get a default and everything gets mailed to her last known address. Your divorce can be granted 6 months after she was served. I presume you send her child support through the court. Do you not know where your child lives? Is there a restraining order in place in Louisianna? I just don't see why she is obstructing you from obtaining a dissolution of the marriage.
