Legal Question in Family Law in California

I got served for child support last year. I have to pay my current payment of $366 plus $47 a month for back child support. I discussed the situation with my son`s mother and she tells me she has only been getting $50 a month. So where is the rest of the payment going? Will that affect me in the case that the county thinks I`m not paying?

The balance is going to the county to pay back the welfare that she and your child have had to live off of. It's a good program, as you should support your children, and not the rest of us who have to pay taxes.
