Legal Question in Family Law in California

I was served and have a court date for child support in November. How do I change the court date? I just started a new job and can not take off work.

Contact the family law self-help office at your local court. It goes by different names in different counties. Family Law Facilitator and Family Law Self-Help Office are the two most common names. You should be able to find one of those or something similar on the court's website. They exist to help you with local process, procedures and all forms.
