Legal Question in Family Law in California

I was served divorce papers from my wife and on them she used her "married" name but she never changed her social security card or drivers licence etc.to her married name from her maiden name. So which is her legal last name and will the divorce be valid?

One can use any name one wants to as a "legal name" as long as it is not used to defraud someone. So she can use any name on the divorce papers.

She doesn't have to take her maiden name. She can keep the married name if she wants.
