Legal Question in Family Law in California
Serving legal documents
My ex served me with his response papers by regular mail. Isn't it a requirement (in San Diego) that papers be served by registered or certified mail, to get a singed notice of receipt? Or is that only if the person being served is out of state?

Re: Serving legal documents
It can be served by mail, as long as it is served by someone other than your ex.
