Legal Question in Family Law in California

i share custody of my daughter with her dad. he is making a will saying that if he passes away that he is giving his parental rights to his girlfriend and i will have to share custody with her. is this possible??

No. A will is used for transferring property. People are not property, and have not been considered property since the end of the Civil War.
