Legal Question in Family Law in California
I share joint custody with my ex husband, for my son. My son is 10 years old and has never met his grandfather (my father). I want to take him to India to meet his grandfather, as grandfather is getting old. My ex husband claims that he is not comfortable with Tyler going to India. Tyler wants to go to India, but is afraid of speaking up. Would a family court judge allow Tyler to visit his grandfather for a couple of weeks.

Unless there is some reason to believe you might not return with the child, most judges would not think twice about permitting you to take Tyler to meet his grandfather.
