if i share joint physical and legal custondy of my 2 yr old. can my ex have my daughter sleep at her boyfriends, even though the court documents specifically state my and her address only as my daughters residence?

Just because a person, child or adult, resides in one place does not mean they can never visit another place overnight, even for extended stays. Unless for some reason it is harmful to the child, your ex is free to take her to sleep anywhere she likes during her custodial time.
