Show me the money!!

I owned my house before I was married and it has always been in my name only. I gave my future ex-wife a substantial amount of money that I felt that it would cover her part of the equity during the time of our mirrage. I later frecalled after our divorce was final that she had signed a quit claim 2 months after we we're married therefore she released all interest in the house at an early stage. Can I sue my ex to recover the money I gave her that I believe is still mine?

What would be the grounds upon which you would sue her. She accepted the money as part of settling the division of community property. Your chance of success if you sued would be slim.
