No Show Visitation
What can you do about a non custodial parent who only shows up 25% of the time for his visits ?
He gives notice 50% of the time before hand and the other times he just doesnt show. His excuses are that something came up. Besides hauling him back to court are there any immediate resolutions?
Is he breaking a court order?

The father has a right to visit with his children. The children have no legal right to force the father to visit them. If the irregular visitation is causing the children emotional problems you can get a court order to reduce visitation. At the same hearing you can request that child support be modified to reflect the actual visitation he has. This may result in a substantial increase in child support he has to pay.
