Legal Question in Family Law in California

No signature divorce

I filed for divorce, my husband sent a response, this was 4 years ago. Never went anywhere from there. I filed again last year and I was told I would need him to sign a default paper but he refused to do so. How can I get divorced without him signing anything? We have been separated for 7 yrs and have no debts or assests together.

Re: No signature divorce

You should set the matter for trial and ask the court to enter judgment at that trial. It will take one day at court. You may wish to hire an attorney to get this done. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
