Legal Question in Family Law in California

My ex and I signed an agreement to exchange our son every week.we live in different cities and my son is about to start school.is there any way out of this agreement.

You haven't indicated whether this is a side agreement, or whether this agreement has become a court order. The bottom line is that unless there is an agreement to modify the current arrangement, then you will have to try to get a court order to change it based on what is in the best interest of the child.
