Legal Question in Family Law in California

I signed an interspousal transfer deed to my exhusband after our divorce 3 yrs ago. He was ordered to refinance or assume the loan, he has not and has modified the loan instead. He may have poor credit and be unable to do either, am I able to request the transfer deed be reversed or force to sale the house?

No. You better find out more about how the loan modification was processed. In some types of loan modifications, a new promissory note will be executed, so you may not be on the hook for the loan anymore either.
