signing the birth certificate/child support

i am pregnant by a married man, i was wondering if he was allowed to sign the birth certificate even though i am not his legal wife and if my child has to have his last name to recieve child support?

Yes, he can sign the birth certificate, no, he does not have to have your last name in order for you to get child support.
