signing over paternal rights
my husband and i have been together for 6years now and since we have been together his ex will not let him see his daughter. the courtismaking him pay child support but she will still not allow him to see her. she recently got married, and had another child with her husband, and is now asking the courts for more money from him. i honestly dont believe this is fair. myhusbands daughter dosnt even call him dad anymore and calls his ex's husband daddy. so my question is my husband wants to sign over his paternal rights to his ex. can this be done, and how could he do it??

Re: signing over paternal rights
His obligation to pay support will end only if the court terminates his paternal rights. Generally the court will not terminate parental rights unless there is an adoption.
