Legal Question in Family Law in California

Me and my sister both had a key to my grandmothers house. She is getting older and more forgetful and her brother came over and changed her locks. Is that legal. He never told anyone about what he did.

First, if you are on good terms with her brother, you should indicate that you and your sister had a key before, so you would like a copy of the new key. If you are not on good terms, if your grandmother is not senile, you should ask her if she is aware that her brother changed her locks. For all you know, she may have asked him to do so. You should then ask her why she did that, and if it is okay for you and your sister to have a copy of the new keys.

Also, unless her brother is on title to that house, he does not have the right to change the locks, unless he was instructed to do so.
