Legal Question in Family Law in California

sole custody equal no child support?

If I filed (and obtained) sole custody, what does that constitute? Does that mean that the NCP does not have any visitation or have to pay child support? Thank you.

The ncp would still have visitation rights and would have to pay child support. Sole custody gives you control over decisions regarding the child.
