Legal Question in Family Law in California

Sole Legal Sole Physical Custody

Due to a childrens protective services investigation I was vested with full legal and physical custody of my 5 year old daughter..On the court order the mother only has 2 and 4th week overnight visitations..The mother goes to my daughters school and pretends to be friendly in front of the staff but when she is alone with my daughter she verbally threatens and emotionally abuses my daughter.I talked to the school principle but he and the staff stated that it does not say on the court order that the mother cant go visit our daughter at school..Are there any laws that I look up to keep the mother away from the school?

Re: Sole Legal Sole Physical Custody

I would read the court order carefully, it does not seem appropriate that the other parent may visit the child outside of the designated custody order. I would first do that, and then file for an enforcement action if the parent continues to violate the court order.

As always please consult an san jose family lawyer attorney prior to taking any legal action. Good luck.
