Legal Question in Family Law in California

my son and his girlfriend have separated and now the girlfriend refuses to bring the baby to my house because my son lives near by. I would just like to know, as a grandparent, what rights do i have. The baby and i are very close.

Unfortunately, grandparents do not have any rights to a child, except in extremely limited circumstances. Your son can exercise his visitation and share it with you. Either that, or find some way to get along with the girlfriend. Try to convince her that the world is harsh enough, and the child should have the benefit of as many loving relationships to support him/her through life as they can get.
