Legal Question in Family Law in California

My ex son in law closed his business and has told my daughter he wont be paying her alimony any longer. Alimony was agreed to during arbitration by both parties to avoid court and ensuing costs and hassles. He is now living with his girlfriend at her parents house and my daughter is living on her own. What should she do next? Can he just quit paying?

Assuming a judgment of divorce was entered as a result of the Arbitration - husband is on the hook for spousal support until he gets a court order saying otherwise. Unfortunately your daughter will have to incur legal expenses in order to enforce the judgment in court by having his financial accounts levied, liens put on his property, wages garnished etc.
