My son turned 18,can he sue his father for child support?
My son turned 18, so he is no longer receiving Child Support. Can he sue his father for child support as long as he's in school? (college, etc.?)If so, how would he do it?Thank you.

No. A parent is liable for support of a child until the child is 18 years old or up to 19 if the child is a full time student in High School. If you are referring to child support arrears, they are due to you as reimbursement for child rearing costs and not to your son.

Sounds like YOU need to go back to court to get this done. Courts are normally agreeable to grant this unless other agreement on record.
