Legal Question in Family Law in California
They took my son
I had a son with a woman who had recently died in a car crash, and was taking care of him.Although we were not married I let the grandparents take him for a week visitation. Now I find out that they went to court saying that I abanded him,and also filed a restraining order against me.They are also saying that I did not have him on certain dates even though I have shot records to prove otherwise. Is there anything I can do? Thank you for your time and effort.

I suggest that you take a copy of the restraining orders and a copy of the childs' birth certificate and consult with an experienced family law lawyer. Experience is not expensive, it's priceless!

You should immediately establish yourself as the biological parent of ther child. As the natural parent you have a presumptive right to custody.
However, you did not state what action if any, the grandparents have taken in addition to the request for restraining orders. You need to aggressively defend all actions taken by the grandparents and you should immediately retain the services of an attorney to assist you. YOU SHOULD NOT DELAY!

Don't delay file a paternity suit immediately. You will get custody unless you are an unfit father. Call me directly at (619) 222-3504.
