Sons father took our son out of state and we dont have custody papers do i have to go to the state my sons in to get visitation or custody hes in mossuri

It depends on how long you have waited to ask this question. If the child has resided out of state for six months, you have to go to the new state of residence. If you file within six months, and the child has lived in California for at least six months before being taken to Missouri, California will recognize jurisdiction.
