Legal Question in Family Law in California
My sons father and I just split up (he kicked us out and moved his girlfriend in). Our son is 8 months old and he wants to have him every other week. Would a judge grant him every other week?

Not very likely at that age. As Mr. McCutchan said, it is up to the court's discretion, but generally very little children need very frequent time with each parent, so even a 50/50 share is not likely to be week-on/week-off. More like a change every few days.
