Legal Question in Family Law in California

My sons father and his wife closed their joint bank account. They closed the joint account so DCSS would not be able to levy the account for back support. His wife opened an account under her name only. My sons father uses the account to get direct deposits for VA benefits. Can I sue the wife for knowingly hidden income and assest of my sons father?..

I would like to be able to sue the wife so she is held accountable for hiding his assests.

They live in Kentuck and I live in California

Can I sue the wife for her role in this?

You need to speak to an attorney with DCSS. I can tell you from experience that they have means of enforcing child support awards that go way beyond simple bank account levies.
