Legal Question in Family Law in California

If my sons mom is chemically unbalanced, does that help me with custody? she has a long history of violence and aggression against us and tried to kill herself in front of us last week. I want to try for full custody with visitation for her pending a full psychiatric evaluation and treatment of her illness.

You should go in on an emergency domestic violence prevention TRO with supervised visitation. If you have the wherewithal to pay for legal counsel, please contact me or any other Contra Costa County Family Law attorney of your choice right away. If you cannot afford an attorney, contact the Family Law Facilitator at the Superior Court in Martinez. Do not let this go on. The Amy Bishop-Anderson case in Huntsville, AL last week is the kind of thing that can happen when the family doesn't act to force one parent into the care they need.
