soon2bx is not allowing my soon2bwife visitation ........
in short he has refused vistation of 8yr based on my 16year old dui conviction telling my soon to be wife that he is filling for full custody ''to protect his child'' even though the child lived in my home for a year and a half, with no problems.My girl is afraid and loves me but doesnt want to lose her baby.This jerk said if he cant have her she cant have her child.

Child custody is decided on the best interests of the child. Your girlfriend will have mediation before the court makes a custody order. Hopefully, they can agree on a plan to raise their child together. If not the court will give them a schedule which they will have to live with. If you had a DUI in the past and still drink you may want to consider getting involved with AA. The courts are wary of any alcohol abuse.
