Legal Question in Family Law in California

I have two special needs children. Their father gives me $300.00 a month in child support and has them on the weekends. I am not comfortable with the supervision they have in his home and want to know what I can do to change it. Also, I am unsure whether or not the money we are getting is fair.

I would love some help.

Assuming there's a child support order in place and there are changed circumstances to warrant this, you could file an Order to Show Cause with the Court and request a modification of Child Support and Visitation and request an updated Income and Expense Declaration from the Father to assess whether or not $300/month is reasonable. Also, it gives you an avenue to express your concerns about supervision when the children are with the Father.

Hope this helps.
