Legal Question in Family Law in California

Spousal Suport

I have been divorced for five years now, when my ex and I got diviorced after less then three years of marrage. When it was time to go to court and we went before the judge with our attornies my ex had waived his right for spousal suport. What is the staute of limitations? If I was to get re-married could my ex come after me for spousal support?
